Yup...that's really me!! My head isn't *quite* that large though!

I first picked up a camera sometime in the 1970’s - the results were predictably childlike! Forgot about photography until the mid 1990’s and I haven’t put a camera down since. I stumbled into the world of pin-up working with an amazing local model - Cherry Dollface. Realizing that this kind of photography was where my soul lies, I started to wonder if others felt the same way, and thus Portland Pin-Ups was born!

Born in Kent, England, I immigrated to the USA in the summer of 2005, settling in the San Francisco Bay area. After two happy years there, my wife, son, cat and I headed North to Portland, Oregon. We are now busy exploring the magnificent Pacific Northwest!

I love sunlight, travel and my son’s laugh. Not in that order.

Alongside photography, I've also spent much of the last 20 years helping other photographers with my retouching skills, and have worked on projects for such clients as MINI USA, Converse, Banana Republic, Apple and Sony.

I am a full time photographer. I'm lucky enough to have found a career that I love, and that enables me to bring joy to others too!

I also offer workshops teaching pin-up photography and retouching and am a beta tester for Adobe.
